The central idea of the „Tree-Of-Life-Farming“ is a holistic approach not only to farming but especially to livestock farming and land/soil management. The tree in this system is a structural requirement. The focus lies on the edges and borders, the structures and patterns. This way of farming roots in the ideas of Masanobu Fukuoka and Percival Alfred Yeomans and grows from there. It is highly adaptable and sustainable since the human animal within this „Tree-Of-Life-Farming“-system is not the „top dog“. Livestock and humans are part of the perennial agroforestry ecosystem that produces nutrient dense food in a truly sustainable and ethical way. A considerate approach to land and life management that includes the reduction of dependence on industrial infrastructure. This creates a small island of resilence instead of large, corruptible fragilities.
Every tree a unique habitat. I see this way of farming as an act of rebellion. The rebellion to be nature, not dominate nature (which is impossible – it’s a delusion, a sickness, really). It is disconnection from a toxic system that repeats destructive patterns, spirals into extinction. Going no contact with a corrupted, lying, manipulating, exploiting and abusing society. And growing a life worth living and living for.
